Napoléon and Joséphine. The love affair to end all love affairs. Despite everything, they always came back together. True love.

And so it is with me and event planning. I’ve been away for some time, but I am drawn back once again, as to a true love. With a burning in my heart and weak knees, I approach. Will the love still be strong? Will it be the same as it ever was?

And the answer is yes, and yes. And better still.

Just as wonderful
With both feet on the ground

I’ve grown in wisdom. And hopefully also in grace.

Love’s more comfortable
The second time you fall
Like a friendly home
The second time you call

I am looking forward to opening the door and returning to a place filled with sweet things, fragrant blooms, sparkle; to a fresh adventure along cobbled streets, in waving fields of lavender, shining turquoise waters. Surrounded by joy, and laughter.

And love.
