Nissa Gadbois, Creative Director

Nissa has a decade-and-a-half of event design and co-ordination experience, and is trained in floral design. She graduated from the prestigious Protocol School of Washington with a certification in Etiquette and International Protocol.

She enjoys making works of art in a variety of media, listening to great music, eating adventurously, and studying various cultures.  Nissa is an avid amateur photographer, a keen cook, and a voracious reader.

Nissa is resident expert on all things wedding-related on “The Wedding Directory”, an online resource for luxury wedding information. Brian and Nissa are also the founders of Family Centered Living™, a resource to help parents build strong families.

Nissa is the mom of eight great kids – four boys and four girls.  She and Brian have been married for almost 21 years.

Brian

Brian is our project management expert. He keeps everything running smoothly, making sure we never miss a beat. Must be something to do with all those years in the Air Force… He loves to laugh, but never tells a joke. He eats anything but peppers and onions (which means nothing that Nissa cooks), and doesn’t mind a nice cold Guinness or Sam at the end of a busy day.

This spring, Brian will be ordained a deacon for the diocese of Worcester, Massachusetts, ministering to the people of the Brookfields at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart parish.

Cat

Cat is extremely detail oriented and organized. The family social director, she was born to plan events. She is very interested in people, especially young ones. For fun, Cat designs beautiful jewelry and small knitwear pieces. She is also an avid photographer and voracious reader. We’re not sure where that came from… She hopes to travel the world, picking up design ideas, capturing beautiful images, and searching for the perfect pastry.

Jack

Jack is our MacGyver… he can build just about anything, out of just about anything. If we need something fabricated for an event, he’s our man. He is often found lugging something around. He is also a keen cook and loves to experiment with flavour. He’s the only person we know who has attempted homemade birch beer. He’s looking forward to building a man-kitchen on our 300 acre farm… and a gothic revival barn… and restoring some antique trucks.

Carrie

Carrie loves fashion – people fashion, cake fashion, table fashion… Whatever gets dressed up for an event is her passion. She despises wrinkles, so can be found steaming and pressing away on event day. She is also interested in floral design, confectionery, and anything green. She’s looking forward to living in a river houseboat in England and buying lots of shoes. {LOTS of shoes}
